Studio Tamane
Machine Knit Workshops

Studio 50 resident Rachael Tamanè is a knitwear designer and tutor who has been knitting professionally for 18 years. After working for several years as a knitwear designer in London
she progressed to teaching at the London College of Fashion before moving on to the University of Brighton. Rachael is passionate about teaching and passing on the skills and knowledge she has obtained over the years.
Studio Tamane was created to help keen knitters explore a multitude of techniques that can be learnt on the knitting machine. She creates a friendly and comfortable community setting here at Studio 50 where all abilities are welcomed.
Studio Tamane is contemporary, creative and inspired to teach the next generation these valued and timeless skills.
